Subproject Management (f/d/m) Construction and HDD Drilling - Medium Voltage Cable Laying Wadden Sea - East Frisian Islands

What this role really is: You take responsibility in a technically challenging and ecologically sensitive building environment. Between mainland, ponds, wadden seas and islands, you hold all threads together to ensure that the renewing of the power supply of the East Frisian islands is implemented smoothly, securely and according to plan.

You're moving with us: Planning & Construction: You are responsible for the complete planning and construction of sea cable laying between mainland and islands - technically clean, timely and sustainable

HDD-Bortechnik: The HDD drilling coordinates and monitors for the crossovers on both sides of the cable line and ensures that all work steps are carried out technically perfectly.

On-site construction control: You run and tax construction companies and after-contractors - including time, cost and quality control - and are also on the way to Pontons, ships or the islands

Environment & National Park: Compliance with all environmental requirements is guaranteed - especially in the area of the Niedersächsisches Wattenmeer National Park - and keeps in mind the natural compatibility at any time

Interface & cooperation: You agree closely with authorities, nature conservation organisations and internal areas of expertise and implement approved procedures

Procurement & Documentation: In the case of tenders and awards, you participate, evaluate technical offers and ensure complete and auditable documentation and acceptance of the works

That's what you bring: Expertise: You have a completed degree in civil engineering or a comparable qualification - ideally with multi-year (5+ years) experience in similar infrastructure or management engineering projects

Experience in special depth construction: Know-how from the HDD drilling technology or from the laying of sea cables you use specifically - or you want to further deepen this expertise, which is a significant plus for this role

Maritime Competence: Construction in the maritime environment you already know, or you want to work intensively into these special conditions - including the sensitive requirements of the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park

Project & construction site control: With construction workflow planning, time and cost control as well as coordination of construction sites, you go safely and structured around

Communication & Team Spirit: Different trades can be coordinated with you, in complex situations you keep an overview and communicate clearly, bindingly and solution-oriented

Mobility: You are ready for use on construction sites, islands, in the Wadden Sea or on ships - even if multi-day stays are necessary
