Your main task at ATLAS will be to take care of the independent implementation of electrotechnical developments in the field of electronics development, taking into account quality, cost and time requirements (QKT) as well as relevant development processes and standards. In doing so, you unravel and manage electronic components with digital and analogue content in closed maritime system environments. Your daily work includes the following points: Analysis of product and component requirements in the field of electronics in terms of performance, scalability, environmental conditions, interface compatibility and integration capability. (further) development and/or selection of electronic components, including design, simulation, setup and commissioning of circuits. Design analysis of products and components with a focus on compliance with standards and guidelines (e.g. EMC, shock and vibration). Coordination of the development of individual electronic components from the functional pattern to the standardization and beyond. Responsibility for component integration into existing or new systems, ensuring functionality and compatibility. Own documentation and analysis of work results. Creation of hardware specifications in Doors and production documents for production.

Complete study of electrical engineering, information technology, computer science with first professional experience or completed vocational training in the field of electrical engineering (e.g. electronics technician for information and system engineering) supplemented by subsequent further training to the technician:in and multi-year professional experience, ideally in the development of PCBs. You bring experience in the development of analogue and digital circuits, especially in the field of high-frequency technology, signal processing and communication technology. Knowledge of how to use software for schematic design and PCB design (e.g. Siemens Expedition Designer, Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad) and simulation tools (e.g. LTspice, PSpice, Matlab). You are used to work safely with measuring and testing equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters) for diagnosis and error analysis. Team-oriented working and ability to interdisciplinary cooperation. Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing. readiness for occasional international and national missions.
