We are looking for the next time Senior Consultant (m/w/d) Your work area In several respects, the Medical Clinic 2 fulfills a central task within the Leopoldina Hospital Schweinfurt. The area of work includes: Disorders of digestive organs (gastroenterology/hepatology) malignant diseases of internal organs and blood (oncology/hematology) Hormone diseases, especially diabetes mellitus (endocrinology, diabetics) special infectious diseases (infectiology) and pathological changes in the immune system (immunology/rheumatology) and thus a large part of internal medicine. In addition, the clinic is also a central service provider for the other departments of the hospital, with a large functional department for sonography (about 12,000 investigations/years) and endoscopy (over 7,000 investigations/years), a haematology and cytology laboratory as well as a diabetes center (patient school, supply of late damage/'diabetic foot'). Your duties Senior Consultant (m/w/d) is responsible for the stationary and outpatient care of patients. You work in an interdisciplinary team and are responsible for carrying out investigations, the preparation of diagnosis and the development of treatment plans. Your tasks include participation in shift/promoting services and the creation of reports. You support the assistant physicians in diagnostics and therapy with their specialist expertise. You support the study secretariat in implementing innovative therapy studies Your profile You are a specialist in internal medicine and hematology and oncology You are curious, ask questions and have the courage to take responsibility in medicine.
