As the primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, secure and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to into the area close to the insert and thus contribute to the continuous increase the leadership and operational capability of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,700 We operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking responsible IT specialists from the Bundeswehr-IT Developing conviction in challenging digitalization projects and thus want to contribute to Germany's security.

We provide communication between all our customers' properties and ourselves safe. We are an important and great specialist within the BWI and structure us in services (LAN/W​LAN, WAN, Security and RAS). In our department PoD2 Network we have full responsibility for how these services are designed and to be pronounced. Strategically important decisions for NETWORK are prepared here. We select hardware and software, develop and test designs, develop improvements of already existing networks and continue to form us with innovative technologies to cope with the challenges of tomorrow.

-Your tasks:-

· Development of technical design specifications and creation of technical specifications (e.g. design specification and Security concept · Responsibility for the creation and development of processes, Best Practices and Guidelines in WAN Automation · Continuous improvement of WAN services in technical and Financial considerations taking into account technological trends · Technical architectural consulting of our customers and development of Cross-service solutions proposed in cooperation with the Service Management · Participation in tenders and awards by drawing up technical Performance descriptions · Support and advice of the team in the field of automation as well as training of employees with regard to design and operating activities

-Your profile:

· Complete study or comparable training in the IT environment · About 5 years of relevant professional experience as IT-Architect in Automation environment and very good knowledge of Network technologies, topologies and services · Knowledge in the context of scripting and automation tools (e.g. Python, Pearl or Ansible) and products from Cisco, Nokia or Secunet of advantage · Experiences in virtualization (e.g. proxmox) and Creation of design specifications and technical concepts · Empathy, good communication and team skills, an analytical thinkability, creativity and an independent, structured and Target-oriented operation · German language skills in word and writing
