The Schwarz IT supports the entire digital infrastructure and all software solutions of the companies of the Schwarz Group. It is therefore responsible for selecting, providing and operating as well as further developing IT infrastructures, IT platforms and business applications. In order to optimally support the departments through IT solutions in their business processes, the Schwarz IT takes up the requirements of the departments in consultations and works together with these professional and efficient IT solutions.

Your tasks

• You are researching the latest developments in quantum hardware and quantum software stacks.
• You support the development of quantum algorithms in suitable programming environments, for example in Qiskit.
• You test and optimierst quantum algorithms on simulators and real quantum computers.
• You implement first prototypical application examples as a quantum solution, such as tour planning problems from logistics.

Your profile

• You study mathematics, computer science, technical physics, quantum physics or a comparable discipline.
• You think logically and work independently and well organized.
• You have a basic understanding of quantum computers.
• You can program with Python and have ideally already gained first experiences with Python environments for quantum computing, such as Qiskit or Qrisp.
• You speak well German (at least B2 level) or good English.
