In the field of process engineering, you undertake various tasks for simulating multiphysical effects for heating metallic materials. Your part: laying out and optimizing induction furnaces by means of multiphysical, electromagnetic (EM) and thermal simulation Development of combined electromagnetic and thermodynamic models for coils and power assemblies in induction furnaces and block heaters Conducting variant comparisons, process optimization, sensitivity analyses and thermal design studies Projecting and deriving e.g. of designs for coils of induction systems and transfer to the construction Participation in R&D projects to increase efficiency and save resources
You are fascinated by temperature-assisted manufacturing processes and plant engineering, work carefully, structured and have the following further qualifications: Master or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics or Related Area Experience in coupled EM and thermal simulation, preferably in the field of induction or power electronics Safe handling of Ansys Maxwell and icepak or comparable tools Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink/FEM Understanding EMC position and thermal limits of power components Structured, analytical working and communication strength German knowledge (C1) and good English knowledge (at least B2 level)
