The Federal Agency for Real Estate Tasks (BImA) is the real estate service provider of the federal government, which supports the federal government's real estate policy objectives and provides the necessary areas and buildings for almost all federal authorities. Our business unit Bundesforst serves as a comprehensive environmental service provider for forest, openland and water areas with a unique natural environment from the coast to the Alps. In the Federal Forestry Companies, we also ensure that the requirements of military use are agreed with the concerns of sustainable and environmentally sound land management, or that the areas of the National Natural Heritage are developed in accordance with the respective nature conservation objectives. The Bundesforstbetrieb Hohenfels is responsible for the Federal Forestry Campaigns in Central and South Bavaria and offers jobs for forestry farmers. Forstwirten and foresters have their jobs in the forest and are usually independent of localities in small working groups. You take care of the production of the renewable raw material wood and the maintenance, maintenance and use of our forests, which serve to protect our habitat and to rest. Practical part: The practical part of the training takes place predominantly in the Bundesforstbetrieb Hohenfels in the training area Unterlinder in Großbissendorf in the Oberpfalz. Theoretical part: In the form of block-instructions, the vocational training course takes place several weeks per year in the vocational school centre Schwandorf (external site Neunburg vorm Wald).
