Your role In this position, you work closely with the development manager of the Dresden site to develop and implement the product strategy for our application software PiWeb. You report directly to him in this function

In addition to strategic development, you also take on operational tasks such as coordination and implementation of release-accompanying activities (e.g. adjustment of the price list) and response to sales requests (e.g. certifications)

Regular trips to our Dresden site (two times a month) and occasional trips to Ulm or to customers in Germany and abroad are part of your activity

You analyse the market environment as well as competitors and launch a targeted product roadmap to unlock new markets and gain market share. Business analyses are also part of this task

As an interface between our customers, the Product Owner, the development team in Dresden and other internal stakeholders (such as marketing and sales) translate customer needs into product requirements

You promote interdisciplinary cooperation and integrate different expertise to ensure the success of our measurement technology software

Together with the marketing team, you support the marketing and positioning of the product, create relevant content and present – together with our sales team:inside - our portfolio at trade fairs and events

You provide product information for international sales companies to ensure the optimal use of our software

You monitor product success, customize product roadmaps and agree closely with other product managers to our entire product portfolio

Your task is to set the course for the future success of PiWeb, for example by opening new markets or planning new features in the field of AI

Completed studies in the field of economic engineering or a comparable discipline, ideally on master level

At least 2-3 years of experience in product management of software solutions in the industrial environment and knowledge of the phases and tasks of professional software development

Passion for software and data-based services

willingness to be 40% of the working hours in Oberkochen on site, as well as willingness to travel (two times a month for three days to Dresden and another three-day journey within Germany or near abroad)

Experience in industrial measurement technology or the willingness to work into technologies such as statistical process control (SPC) or closed loop applications

German and English in word and writing in B2 level or better
