The employees of the Mercedes-Benz plant in Hamburg develop and produce axles, axle components, lightweight structural components, steering columns, exhaust manifolds and future-oriented e-mobility technologies in the core fields. Modern welding methods as well as the combination of internal high-pressure forming and plastic injection molding were further developed at the site for series production. In your 6-month internship you are part of our team and work with the development of pedal systems and related product changes. The focus of the internship is on monitoring, evaluation and documentation of complex test series in relation to pedal systems. These challenges include: Cooperation in the activities of experimental engineers

Processing into the measurement technology and evaluation software from the test field

Participation in complex test series during pedal testing

Participation in the planning, persecution and implementation of experiments

Evaluation and documentation of test results

Participation in procurement and production of prototypes and sample parts

Working with benchmark and patent analyses

co-planning of the extension of existing system and module units in the test field

The activity can begin from August 2026.

Study programme in the field of mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering/vehicle engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics or a comparable study programme

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office

Commitment and team skills
