Senior Data Scientist with focus on econometry/predictive analytics (gn*)

The development of tailor-made data science products in cross-disciplinary teams, e.g. together with the logistics or the distribution You work on the development of new analytical methods and their application Responsibility for the further development of forecast models and complex analytic solutions as well as for the design and development of simulation models The significant development of our Big Data and Data Science architecture on Azure You implement automated data science processes In the Data Science projects of our departments, you take responsibility for the project management The opportunity to actively shape the Data Science environment A varied working environment with ever-new applications in the Data Science area as well as continuous development through training and expert exchange

Multiannual professional experience as Data Scientist A completed study in the field of economics, mathematics/statistics or art related subjects with the corresponding indentations (econometry, big data analytics, machine learning) Work routine on cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS and with the appropriate analysis tools, e.g. Spark, SQL, Databricks Confidence with regression analyses, machine learning methods and efficacy tests, e.g. hypothesis tests Practical knowledge in the handling of statistical programming languages, preferably with Python or R Experience in managing Data Science projects The ability to analyze complex relationships and to communicate them in a targeted and clear manner The enthusiasm for the business added value of Data Science & AI and the joy to advance new ideas
