Sole Managing Director (m/f/d)

What you expect: You take over the strategic and operational management of the Group companies. You cooperate with the Supervisory Board, the shareholder and the gambling authority of the state of Brandenburg. You are responsible for the entire range of operational and strategic management tasks for the company's lottery and gaming banking business within the legal framework. With around 200 employees, You ensure the expansion of entrepreneurial spaces and the strategic development of the company with the aim of making the product portfolio and its marketing safe, flexible, customer-, service- and future-oriented, digitally innovative for the Land of Brandenburg. You are responsible for ensuring and optimising a stringent organisation of construction and execution with an adequate, compliance-oriented IT infrastructure that enables the performance-oriented, economic and digital implementation of the state contract. You lead employees sovereign, motivating, result-oriented. You ensure their necessary and forward-looking qualifications and competencies, promote an open corporate culture oriented towards self-initiative, innovation, service orientation and participation through a modern, communicative management style. You ensure optimal management/owner information. You represent the LBL competently to the shareholder, relevant working and management levels of the public administration, in bodies, committees and associations, against certification and testing bodies, service providers, cooperation partners and the public. You operate active stakeholder, interface and service management, relationship and network care in the Brandenburg region, relevant municipalities, regional economy, administration, politics, cultural institutions, media. You present the company on all relevant internal and public platforms, in the Deutsche Lotto and Totoblock (DLTB) as well as in international member organisations. The service contract is usually concluded in due time with the possibility of continuation.

What you bring: You are an entrepreneurial, decision-making leader with personal maturity, self-initiative, sense of responsibility, integrative implementation strength and a goal-oriented and result-oriented approach. You perform sovereign, authentic and presentation-proof, show diplomatic enforcement and strong negotiation skills. You operate internally and externally with a clear, binding, value-assuring communication at all levels. You look back on a multiannual, highly prosperous professional and leadership experience from commercial management positions with sales and marketing orientation in medium-size service companies that have pronounced branch, sales and/or commercial marketing activities (IT/Digital service providers, consumer goods companies, retail, financial services / online banks, public services (energy, smart grid, housing, etc.). You have a successful university degree, preferably economics or equivalent skills and experience. You have a high level of analytical and strategic conceptual competence, proven experience in the optimization and development of structures, processes, standards and a very good commercial know-how. You are versed in change, project and conflict management, gain acceptance with interlocutors via personality and know-how, act on a high level of service and economic efficiency. Their expertise in business development, marketing and sales management and the successful promotion and implementation of product innovations as well as strategic business ideas is profound, your Internet and media affinity is high. You promote cooperative, efficient cooperation and a collegial, trusting relationship within and outside of their own organization. With empathy, you will inspire people for common goals. You are experienced in dealing with public companies and authorities, have a high level of identification with the Brandenburg site and the public contract. A regional presence is expressly desired.
