Technician / Specialist Battery and Hazardous Waste Disposal (m/f/d)

As a technician for battery and hazardous materials supply, you take one of the most important roles in our production. You ensure that dangerous substances and battery modules are handled professionally, legally and safely. Your work protects people, environment and progress at the same time. Monitoring and implementation of all waste separation and labelling requirements – you ensure that the standards are known in your factory areas and are consistently adhered to Packaging hazardous waste and transport with forklift trucks or electric trucks from the site to the waste collection site Examination of the waste composition and sorting of faults according to specifications Packaging, refilling, weighing, marking and provision of hazardous materials In-, re- and unsubscribe dangerous waste collections as well as preparation of all accompanying, take-over, pick-up and delivery documents Support for waste declaration, sampling and disposal Loading and unloading of trucks and containers, marking under hazardous goods law, takeover of responsibility as packaging and loading equipment Electro-hydraulic discharge and dismantling and packaging of damaged or stabilized battery modules and cells Maintenance and maintenance of assigned machinery, equipment and cranes Consultation and support of production colleagues in matters relating to waste topics

At least 3 years of experience in handling hazardous materials, hazardous materials, lithium-ion batteries, laboratory chemicals, electrical and electronic waste equipment Safe handling of waste documentation: accompanying notes, takeover notes, pick-up tickets and shipping documents are familiar terrain for you Handicraft skill and genuine willingness to work on new tasks Compulsory awareness, self-sufficiency and readiness to learn – you’re packing up and thinking Valid forklift and crane license or qualification and willingness to acquire it Willingness to shift work (spring, late and night shift) Secure handling of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) German and English language skills in word and writing
