Your workplace

The Northern Harbour in Hanover, a stationary youth group, offers seven places for young people aged 14 to 21 who have become vulnerable due to drug use, a quiet place to arrive and support them on their way to a self-determined life. As a rule, young people and young adults requesting the housing group are looking for a new home due to a problematic life situation. For example, this can be difficulties in your own family or in the current housing group, crime, the absence of school and consumption experiences.

Your duties

• structuring of the daily and weekly course of the group
• Promoting individual resources of residents:inside
• Support for self-sufficiency skills
• Support in everyday management, day structuring, leisure design, crisis intervention and motivation work
• Constructive cooperation with the team, in particular through participation in team and supervision meetings and service and organization meetings

• You will have a completed vocational training for:to the educator:in / Heilerziehungspfleger:in
• You are at least 25 years old
• You bring at least two years of professional experience
• They have expertise in various educational styles and development and learning theories
• In addition, you have very good communication and self-organization skills
