Your tasks - clear and clear

· Responsible patient care in neurological speaking time · Diagnostics and therapy of neurological diseases in outpatient settings · Implementation and findings of medical examinations (polysomnography, polygraphy, MSLT/MWT, actigraphy) · Diagnostics and therapy of neurological sleep disorders, in particular:

· Insomnia · Hypersomnia (e.g. narcolepsy) · Parasomnia (e.g. REM sleep disorder, sleep change) · Sleep-related movement disorders (e.g. residualless leg syndrome, periodic leg movements) · Sleep-wax rhythm disorders · Sleep disorders in neurological basic diseases (e.g. epilepsy, M. Parkinson, MS)

· · Interdisciplinary cooperation with domestic physicians, psychiatrists, pneumologists and other disciplines · Participation in standby services in the sleep laboratory by agreement · Documentation and quality assurance

About the Medical Center Harz

The Medical Center Harz is located in the wonderful resin, located in a touristicly attractive region with great leisure value, high quality of life with diverse cultural possibilities and very good childcare offers. Numerous educational institutions in the immediate vicinity of the clinic locations such as gymnasiums, professional schools and a university complete the offer.

We plan to integrate a sleep laboratory with 16 sleeping places at the Harzklinikum in Wernigerode. We are looking for a dedicated specialist (m/w/d) for neurology with interest in sleeping medicine at the next time to build and run this new area.
