(Senior) Internal Auditor (m/f/d)

As a (Senior) Internal Auditor (m/w/d) you are responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and integrity of business processes, risk management procedures and compliance with corporate policies and regulations. This position is responsible for carrying out internal audits, audits and investigations in various business areas. The following tasks are primarily responsible: You support the development of the annual audit plan with the aim of covering important risk areas You carry out internal audits and audits independently in accordance with the audit objectives and methods You identify and evaluate risks and vulnerabilities in business processes and internal control You create audit reports that clearly and accurately represent the results, recommendations and action plans You ensure that the company complies with all relevant laws and regulations and support the implementation of compliance measures You identify opportunities for improvement in business processes and work in developing recommendations to increase efficiency and reduce risk You communicate with employees at all levels of the company to convey the importance of internal controls and risk management

You have a successfully completed university degree (Bachelor or Master) in the field of economics or engineering, ideally with specific expertise in financial and accounting You provide a multi-year professional experience in internal auditing, internal auditing, compliance or risk management of industrial companies or auditing. You also have experience in central action tracking and can demonstrate first experience in dealing with data analysis You are characterized by your enthusiasm for the work and the joy of teamwork, especially in a dynamic, agile and low hierarchy working and project environment that impresses with its diverse challenges You have an independent and proactive way of working, as well as a good understanding of business processes with the necessary flexibility, curiosity and the ability to think quickly into different and repeatedly new situations. A safe handling of MS Office, experience in SAP as well as reliable knowledge of German and English and a readiness to travel for exams in Germany and abroad complete your profile
