Architect / Civil Engineer, Structural Engineering, as Project Manager for Real Estate (m/f/d)

Project management: You take over the contractor's representation for maintenance, modernization and new construction projects and accompany them from the first idea to the successful implementation. You make decisions on your own responsibility and represent the interests of the BBG to all project participants. Technical project management: You develop technical solutions, coordinate planning and execution processes and ensure a timely and quality-oriented implementation of your projects. Commercial project management: You control the economic side of your projects, keep costs, appointments and liquidity in mind, accompany tenders and awards and ensure transparent project management. Construction management & quality assurance: You are regularly present at your construction sites, coordinate the works involved, accompany acceptances and ensure the quality and contractual performance of the construction services. Defect & Warranty Management: Even after completion of a project, you will keep an overview, track defects and warranty claims consistently and represent the interests of our cooperative. Cooperation & project communication: You work closely with our inventory management as well as other internal departments and external project participants. You help our members as a competent contact person and convey technical connections and construction processes in a comprehensible, transparent and valuable way - even if projects are challenged or not every decision is made.

You have completed your studies as an architect (m/w/d) or civil engineer (m/w/d) with a focus on building construction or a comparable qualification, for example as a state-tested construction technician (m/w/d). You have several years of experience in the management and execution of construction projects – ideally in housing construction or in the modernization and maintenance of existing properties. You have a well-founded knowledge of building and contract law and keep in mind both technical and economic aspects of your decisions. Ideally, you will also have experience in dealing with insurance cases, such as water or fire damage. It is easy for you to explain complex technical themes and projects to the address and to communicate patiently, clearly and solution-oriented even in challenging situations. You have the ability to bring together different requirements and interests, can make informed decisions and keep an overview even if several projects require your attention at the same time. You have a class B licence and appreciate the change between project work in the office and the presence on your construction sites.
