In the Mercedes-Benz Untertürkheim plant, we develop and manufacture central components of our vehicles: high-quality and forward-looking engines, transmissions and axles for Mercedes-Benz cars. We ensure the quality from the outset. Our department “Projects and Field Quality Management” is responsible for the quality of development projects in the field of Powertrain. In the development of our new engines we represent the quality interests in the respective development projects. The focus is on preventive quality work in the product development process with the aim of ensuring the necessary degree of maturity at an early stage. During your internship, you will get insights into the working world of Mercedes-Benz as well as into the powertrain area engines (c-Drive). You support the project management quality in current engine new developments and also get to know the adjacent areas of production, development, logistics, purchasing and planning. These challenges come to you, among other things: Supporting the project leaders quality in engine projects, from the conceptual idea to the development phase to the industrialization and release of the aggregates Support for the regular collection of performance indicators and for requirements and milestone assessments to assess the maturity of current engine projects Regular preparation of quality indicators for controlling development projects Support of project leaders in reporting to department and center management Further development of standards and quality tools in the field of project management quality engines Participation in the preparation and moderation of committee meetings within and outside the team Support for operational tasks in the field of project management quality The activity can begin from March 2027.

Course in Engineering, Economics or a comparable degree course Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Secure handling of MS Office, especially PowerPoint Rapid opinion Team skills and creativity Ready-to-use and communication strength Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
