Team Leader Financial Accounting (m/f/d)

We are looking for an ambitious team leader (m/w/d) financial accounting that is responsible for debitor, creditor accounting, asset and cash management and raises our financial processes to the next level. In this key role you work directly with our CFO and are Sparringspartner for the Senior Account Holder. Your focus is on process optimization, digitization and a strong internal control system – with the aim of sustainably increasing the efficiency and transparency of our financial processes.

Leadership & Coaching: You run the accounting team and keep developing it. Debitor Management: Building smart KPIs & Reporting to control working capital and reducing DSO. Creditor management: Ensuring efficiency and compliance in E-Invoicing implementation. Taxes & Compliance: Responsibility for the timely release of sales tax declarations. Asset: Administration and Examination incl. IFRS-compliant processes for software & depreciation plans. Cash & Banking: Control of all bank accounts, voting and efficient cash pool management. Process Excellence: Continuous improvement of the processes and strengthening the internal control system. Collaboration: Close cooperation with internal departments, examiners and tax advisors.

Studies in BWL, Finance/Accounting or comparable qualification. Multiannual experience in accounting (debitors, creditors, investment assets, cash management). Fit in sales tax and sales tax pre-registrations. Experience in bank accounts and cash pool management. Very good knowledge of financial accounting software, SAP know-how is a plus. Passion for digitalization, process optimization and automation. Proactive, solution-oriented thinking with a clear focus on efficiency. Strong communication and experience in team leadership. Very good German knowledge, English of advantage.
