Development of firmware requirements and conception of firmware architecture Implementation of defined requirements by FPGA programming in VHDL while maintaining valid coding standards Creation of VHDL testbenches to verify and simulate the developed firmware derivation and definition of low-level test cases to secure firmware requirements Creation and maintenance of hardware test scripts as well as performing the tests and documentation of the results Implementation of code reviews and ensuring consistent traceability between requirements and implementation Support for integration and system testing Application of version management systems (e.g. SVN, Git) Close cooperation with adjacent departments such as system engineering, hardware and software development

Complete study of electrical engineering, computer science or comparable qualification (at least Bachelor) Multiannual professional experience in FPGA development with VHDL Very good knowledge of popular FPGA development environments (e.g. Xilinx Vivado Design Suite, Xilinx ISE Design Suite, QuestaSim) Experience with UltraScale+ MPSoC of advantage Very good knowledge of German and English Very good MS Office knowledge Knowledge of requirements tools such as DOORS and modeling tools such as Enterprise Architect Knowledge of programming with Python desirable
