Vehicle Maintenance Technician

Mount & check: You take over the disassembly, assembly and precise adjustment work on vehicle components. You carry out functional checks on doors, door controls as well as other systems of different types of vehicles and special vehicles and ensure their perfect function. Repair components: You are responsible for the installation and removal of central components such as bogies, vehicle clutches or brake systems. This includes setting and testing of rail and spring storage brakes as well as the interaction of all components in the entire system vehicle. Analyzing: You systematically go to the ground, perform fault analyses and take care of professional repair, including in the context of accident repairs, as well as in the case of reconstructions and renovations. Install & connect: You build electronic components, connect them and then perform careful adjustment work and function checks. Switching units as well as display and information systems are part of your task. Check & document: After inspections, you take final monitoring and make sure all activities comply with the applicable regulations. You independently check the operational safety and document your work. In addition, you can safely work with design drawings and schematics and implement them in practice. Special work: Depending on the application, you also perform welding work as well as adhesive and glazing work according to appropriate standards.

Qualification: You have completed mechanical or electronic vocational training. Expertise & know-how: You have a well-founded knowledge in the maintenance of vehicles and experience in the analysis and elimination of technical disorders. In addition, you are willing to continuously expand your knowledge and work into adjacent areas of expertise. IT knowledge: You bring good user knowledge in the MS Office environment or similar systems and can safely work into new systems. Training: You have the right to develop yourself professionally and personally and are open to gaining additional qualifications.
