Team Leader Structural Engineering in Steel Construction (m/f/d)

In this position, you play a central role in our technical office and actively contribute to the projects of the areas of high-grade steel and bridge construction and facade construction. In addition to your technical expertise, you will bring your leadership skills and continuously develop your team. You take over the professional management of a planning team in the structural planning. The resource planning “Statik”, in coordination with internal interfaces such as steel bridge construction, steel construction façade technology and the associated area management, is in your responsible hands. In the coordination of subcontractors:in the field of statics you bring your expertise. In this function, You are the central contact person for the project and construction management, the costing and the production. You create static calculations and connection statistics to support the steel construction. You are responsible for the management of supplementary lists and for the coordination of higher-level planning services for special construction works. Work for the costing can easily be done by your hand. The numbers of budget development keep you firmly in mind and in the award of post-contractor services of the statics, you will fully enjoy your experience. As an experienced team player, you know that no progress can be made without colleagues, which is why you are pushing forward the further development of the team by introducing standard processes, methods and work templates. The weekly reporting of ongoing projects to the relevant departmental management is of course an important basis for work. Your expert opinion can be found as part of the cooperation on future projects such as e.g. the development of norms, digitization or sustainability and thus satisfy your knowledge. The support of research projects as well as master and diploma thesis completes your task.

Complete degree or master studies in civil engineering, ideally with a focus on engineering or bridge construction, similar fields of study possible with the same qualification Multiannual professional experience in the structures and Engineering and bridge construction planning Experience in the professional management or coordination of employees or projects Very good knowledge of static design planning and calculation Secure handling of MS Office as well as common calculation and CAD software, ideally knowledge of the DLUBAL software family Structured, responsible operation and pronounced communication strength Very good knowledge of German in word and writing
