Who are we? Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz, headquartered in Koblenz, has been the luckysmith for Rhineland-Palatinate since 1948 and employs more than 150 employees in the headquarters and seven district directors. Over about 900 vacancy points and online we distribute numerous gambling such as LOTTO 6aus49, EUROJACKPOT, GlücksSpirale, TOTO or RubbelLotto. In the 75 years since its founding, Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz has distributed over eight billion euros to winners and generated around six billion euros of taxes and charges for the common good. We need to fill the three key words of our corporate concept “safe”, “social” and “sporty” with life: as a partner of sport, sponsor of culture and supporters of social initiatives and climate protection projects.

Your tasks: We operate business-critical applications in a complex, heterogeneous IT environment. Our systems are closely interlinked and partly proprietary. At the same time, we actively promote the modernisation of our architecture – towards open standards, clear integration concepts and a sustainable data platform. We are looking for you: a personality who understands system relationships, makes integrations responsibly and actively promotes technical development. Your core tasks • Development and development of system-related software based on Java • Conception and implementation of interfaces between internal and external systems • Analysis of business processes and technical design of suitable solutions • Designing our data platform (Microsoft Fabric, Power BI) • Quality assurance through tests and structured documentation • Continuous development of our architecture and integration landscape

Your competencies: Must-have • Computer Science (B.Sc.) or comparable qualification • Found experience in Java development • Very good knowledge of relational databases (SQL) • Experience in designing and implementing interfaces (e.g. REST) • Very good knowledge of German and English (C1)
