Health Manager in Erding / Garbsen / Berlin or Leipzig (m/f/d)

Key job responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation changes affecting workplace health and ensure compliance with Amazon's policies and local health, safety, and medical regulations
• Define, monitor, and report health-related metrics to GMH Leadership to measure program success, identify areas for improvement and inform health strategies
• Support the proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation of health risks including physical and psycho-social factors to obtain employee well-being
• Provide subject matter expertise on Occupational Health Programs, offering to stakeholders and liaising with local authorities and occupational health bodies
• Implement and manage comprehensive occupational health services and programs within assigned areas of responsibility, including vendor management, emergency response protocols and prevention measures

As part of the Global Medical and Health Team, you will work on the implementation and ongoing improvement of occupational health programs across our network. You will focus on program management and strategic implementation of health initiatives while preventing health data to identify focus areas. Your day balancing compliance with workplace health regulations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute tailored health programs. You'll conduct site visits to roll out new health projects and ensure standards are being met, leveraging your knowledge of local health and safety regulations. Working closely with occupational health providers, authorities, and internal stakeholders, you'll drive continuous improvement through program management and strategic planning. Your expertise in occupational health and understanding of both global standards Amazon and local requirements will be essential in fostering a culture focused on employee health and well-being.

Basic qualifications

• Master's degree in occupational health, health sciences, public health, or related field
• Experience in project management and occupational health program implementation
• Proficiency and experience with data analysis and reporting tools
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
• Knowledge of regional health and safety regulations
• Professional working proficiency in both verbal and written communication in German and English. Preferred qualifications
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management abilities
• Experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives
• Lean and/or Six-Sigma certification or equivalent experience in process improvement methodologies
• Experience in health management in a retail logistics, manufacturing or production environment
• Experience of, and ability to address and support, executive priorities, including strong writing and communication skills
• Advanced proficiency (verbal and written) in additional European languages
