Design Engineer - Optical Systems (m/f/d)

You work on projects for the design, design and construction of parts for optical distribution and plug systems as well as cabling solutions and their accessories with You design plastic and injection molded parts according to project specifications You accompany the product independently from the concept phase, prototype construction and series maturity in cooperation with process development You are a representative of our production sites in Augsburg, Hungary and Mexico You continuously optimize and develop the existing product portfolio

You will have a completed technical study in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or precision engineering, or a completed technical training with a successful further education for the technician:in You have several years of experience in the field of construction and are safe to use CAD systems, ideally Auto-Desk Inventor You have good knowledge of the functional and manufacturing design of mechanical components, sheet metal constructions or plastic injection moulding components You ideally have basic programming skills You are a:e team player:in with high self-initiative and responsibility and are keen to develop innovative ideas and advance independently
