Construction inspector (m/f/d)

We are looking for you for the building law office of the state capital of Stuttgart. The posts must be occupied without delay. The Building Law Office, with its approximately 190 employees, performs the tasks of the lower Building Law Authority. In the various construction departments, construction law matters are handled in a defined area of the Stuttgart city area or for a technically defined area of installations. You are responsible for the monitoring and acceptance of projects subject to authorisation, the prevention of unauthorised construction and the verification and certification of allocation plans You document the building supervision and finished visit protocols The communication with builders, architects, technical engineers and a close cooperation with all participants in the construction department also belong to your tasks You contribute to the tasks of other offices, as far as structural issues are concerned You work mainly in the interior of the Baurechtsamt in Stuttgart-Mitte and are on site to monitor existing construction sites of all kinds and construction sites within your Reviere in Stuttgart

A degree as a state-tested technician in the field of construction technology (focus on building) or state-tested masters in the building industry (e.g. carpentry or masonry) A degree as a state-tested master in the construction plants (building industry) with several years of experience in the cross-sector building management (e.g. turnkey construction) Good expertise in construction and/or practical experience in the construction design are assumed, knowledge in the construction regulations and additional qualification in preventive fire protection would be advantageous. Good and up-to-date knowledge of the standard MS Office applications and readiness for the use of digital media Physical suitability for the implementation of the construction supervision in the field of external services and the associated operation of construction sites and scaffolding Very good expressiveness in word and writing in the German language for communication with builders, architects and technical engineers and the preparation of visit protocols Customer orientation, negotiation skills and enforcement capabilities as well as a high degree of reliability and responsibility in the self-responsibility of individual construction projects
