Director Customs, Foreign Trade and Excise Taxes (m/f/d)

Professional and disciplinary leadership of a global team with 4 Direct Reports in Germany and two functional reports in North America and China General responsibility for compliance in customs and foreign trade, excise and plastic tax Strategic advice and professional interface function between Corporate Tax & Customs and Business Groups Maintenance, control and further development of the Tax Compliance Management System / Internal Compliance Program for customs, foreign trade, excise and plastic tax Analysis, optimization and further development of existing processes for increasing process efficiency and for identifying and implementing customs and excise tax savings potentials Close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders in an international environment

Completed study of business management or equivalent qualification, with at least 15–20 years of professional experience, of which at least 5 years in a senior position with disciplinary leadership Multiannual practical experience in implementing customs and foreign trade issues at international level Extensive analysis, decision-making and problem-solving capability Strong communication and team leadership skills High readiness for travel, strong intercultural competence and a good network Flowing German and English knowledge in word and writing as well as good SAP user knowledge
