The following shall be placed in the Security Division of Pesticides of the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR): Personnel for application processing in authorisation and approval procedures for plant protection products (w/m/d) Reference number 3754 Paying group 11 TVöD Location Berlin Limited for two years Application deadline 26.02.2026 The BfR shall, independently on the basis of internationally recognised scientific assessment criteria, draw up opinions and opinions on food, feed and chemicals safety and health consumer protection in Germany. In these areas it advises the Federal Government as well as other institutions and interest groups. This makes the BfR an important contribution to protecting people. Independent coordination of workflows for evaluation in the department in accordance with the statutory requirements of Regulations (EC) No 1107/2009 and (EC) No 396/2005 Organiser-administrative control of process processing by means of eAkte (process processing system) as well as independent termination and time monitoring of process processing Competent drafting of technical draft assessment reports in German and English in accordance with the procedures Compilation of scientific sub-reports for the final risk assessment for the authorisation of plant protection products Maintenance of entries in document management systems such as eASB (electronic archive for studies and reviews) Own organisation of electronic archiving of documents Creating designs and reinscriptions for overall assessment

Completion of vocational education and training Higher education (Diplom (FH) or Bachelor) in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, business management or comparable disciplines Comprehensive knowledge and professional experience in the care of DV programs and in the organizational handling and control of workflow and document management systems Good IT skills and a very conscientious way of working Practice in the collection and maintenance of data in administrative law enforcement and in the management of facts data Strong sense of responsibility and a high degree of readiness to learn, communication skills and conflictability Result and resource-oriented operation as well as flexibility, team capacity and resilience Very good knowledge of the German language and good knowledge of the English language in word and writing In the case of foreign educational qualifications, proof of equivalence with a German degree is required (see: anabin.kmk.org). The proof must be available in German or English. Required Very good knowledge of the organisational processes of national authorities as well as the relevant EU bodies in the field of consumer health protection, in particular with regard to the authorisation of plant protection products and the establishment of maximum residue levels
