Project Manager - Special Purpose Machinery / Plant Engineering (m/f/d)

We are an internationally oriented mechanical engineering company and have been producing innovative machines and systems for cutting and straightening thin and sensitive metal strips since 1945. We develop and manufacture customer-specific products with the highest standards of quality and precision at our location in Remchingen.

Your future colleagues are looking forward to you. You are responsible for the holistic management of international projects in special machine construction – from order clarification to successful acceptance by the customer. You control dates, costs and quality and coordinate interdisciplinary teams from design, manufacturing and assembly as well as external suppliers. As a central interface for our international customers, you will clarify technical specifications and ensure smooth communication across the entire project history. You plan and conduct decisive phases of the project, conduct works (FAT) and construction site removal (SAT) in Germany and abroad, and prepare regular progress reports for the management level. Together with the service team, you will accompany the commissioning and handover of the plants and actively contribute your experience to the continuous improvement of our project management processes.

You bring a completed technical study (e.g. mechanical engineering), a training as a technician:in or a comparable qualification and at least 3-5 years of experience in the project management in special machine construction. You have proven to have experience in managing international projects, ideally including commissioning abroad. Their work is structured and solution-oriented, helping you with knowledge in project management – a certification is a plus, but no need. As a communication-strong personality, you convince with negotiation skills, enforcement skills and a clear customer orientation. You communicate safely in German and English, both in writing and oral.
