You are hired in the IT system house as an IT engineer/in. Possible places of work for this tender are: Nuremberg/Fürth, Berlin, Chemnitz, Düsseldorf, Hannover, Krefeld, Lübeck, Mainz. Please enter your preferred working place (possibly several) as part of an application. You will work as a Senior Professional System Engineer in the team ''real-time communication''. Based on Microsoft Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams, our team provides more than 130,000 BA users with the IT service for real-time communication and collaboration including the telephony function. We are responsible for the data protection-compliant and stable operation, the quality and further development of one of the largest installations for communication and collaboration in companies in Germany. In parallel, we continuously develop our cloud strategy, especially against the background of digital sovereignty, IT security and data protection. Flexibility is just as important to us in the IT system house as the personal exchange with the team: therefore, we offer you the opportunity to work up to 80 percent in the home office. Tasks and activities: Your field of activity shall include the independent implementation of the following tasks and instructions for other activities: Planning, management and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructures Analysis of system requirements and performance data Development, updating and monitoring of software and updating and monitoring of hardware Identification and elimination of system problems Ensuring system availability and security In particular, you will work to ensure the IT operation of Microsoft Teams for the BA, including the ongoing automation of our IT operation. In addition, you support the development and implementation of our cloud strategy in the field of communication and collaboration.
