Technical writer in the field of low and medium voltage (m/f/d)

As a technical editor, you work closely with the departments such as R&D, product management, sales, purchasing, production and quality to translate complex products into a clear, understandable documentation. You ensure that technicians in the field understand the necessary steps to create durable and reliable connections. In this role you take responsibility and work independently, with you being in direct contact with your supervisor as contact person for all questions of documentation. Development and production of detailed assembly instructions for connecting and closing fittings in the low and medium voltage range Close cooperation with specialist departments, product managers and technical experts on information research and validation Processing of technical content into clear, understandable and target group-oriented instructions Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, regulations and safety standards (e.g. DIN, IEC) Creation and use of diagrams, graphics and visual elements to illustrate complex processes revision and updating of existing documentation for product changes or new standards Cooperation with the quality management to test the accuracy and effectiveness of the created documents Support for sales and customer service in technical questions and training Organisation and control of translation projects in cooperation with external service providers

Successfully completed technical training or studies in electrical engineering, technical documentation or comparable

Experience in the production of technical documentation, ideally in the field of electrical connection and final fittings Knowledge of low-voltage and medium-voltage technology and relevant standards (e.g. DIN, IEC) Very good written and oral communication skills in German and English Ability to prepare complex technical content in a clear, precise and customised manner Safe handling of documentation and graphics software (e.g. Adobe InDesign) High autonomy, team capacity and organizational talent in the parallel control of several projects Embossed Analytical Thinking Power and High Detail Accuracy
