Key job responsibilities

• Create, supervise and promote a culture of security and well-being
• Analysis and implementation of changes to ensure continuous high quality and productivity
• Oversight of projects to streamline processes, optimize productivity and improve service quality for customers in your area of responsibility
• Analysis of the shifts according to company specifications and implementation of measures to improve our operational excellence
• Cooperation with colleagues at the management level in order to standardise shift procedures

A day in the life

You work at one of our locations during shift operation and make sure that the processes there are as productive as possible. Priority Your activity is the management and promotion of a safety culture and the maintenance of the quality and performance standards of the work layers. You also supervise the process improvements in your area and organize the implementation. A typical working day can look quite different and includes both routine team management and daily work tasks as well as process improvement and extensive operational tasks for the eventual case. Basic qualifications

• Degree of study
• Leadership experience
• Relevant experience in communication with different stakeholders, including colleagues and executives
• Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to justify business decisions
• Advanced English and German knowledge in word and writing Preferred qualifications
• Experience in working with Lean, Six-Sigma and Kaizen methods
• Experience with work in another logistics environment
• Experience in working with the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment

About the team Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) handles heavy items such as furniture and large household appliances. Our team takes care of the entire service, from the supply chain to delivery and return. What distinguishes this service from others is the special measure of customer support. We not only deliver large articles, but also pack them out, assemble and install them and take old articles if necessary. With the focus on security, productivity and innovation, we change the way customers buy and receive large goods for the better.

We have ambitious plans to expand our specialized filling centers and delivery stations across Europe. While those of us who work in delivery stations sometimes do night shifts, most of us work during the day.
