Technical Manager in UAS

We are looking for you as Technical Manager:in UAS (w/m/d) for DB Fahrwegdienst GmbH at the Berlin site. Your tasks: As Technical Manager:in UAS, you are responsible for technical requirements, testing, maintenance and configuration management for unmanned aviation systems, automated hangar systems, communication components and sensor technology You develop test and validation concepts for new technologies, test them in defined deployment scenarios and evaluate their suitability for operational flight operations You coordinate test tasks independently with the participating areas and control the operating staff: After successful testing, you release the tested technique for flight operation and ensure the comprehensible documentation of the results You develop maintenance concepts and provide reliable monitoring for the continuous maintenance of flight capability according to the applicable LUC procedures In configuration management, you ensure the legally compliant and secure combination of the technical components used according to the regulatory requirements Market analyses and structured selection processes are used to identify future-oriented UAS, hangar, communication and sensor systems and to create sound management templates Together with Operations Management, Training Management and Development Management, you are driving the technical development of flight operations, training offers and digital remote sensing.

Your profile: You have successfully completed technical studies, for example in aerospace technology, electrical engineering, communications technology, mechatronics, computer science or a comparable field of expertise. Alternatively you are a technician:in Knowledge of unmanned aerospace systems as well as their technical components, communication systems and sensor systems form a good basis for your entry You bring experience in technical requirements, testing, maintenance or configuration management, ideally in the environment of UAS, aviation or safety-critical technical systems In dealing with aviation and regulatory requirements, in particular DVO (EU) 2019/947 and VO (EU) 2019/945, you are safe or willing to work intensively A structured, self-responsive and quality-conscious way of working is just as good as your distinct technical and analytical understanding You convince by communication strength and coordination skills and work with different internal and external stakeholders in a solution-oriented manner.
