Sales Engineer - Perspective Head of Sales (m/w/d)

To strengthen this growing business area, we are looking for an experienced sales engineer (m/w/d) with the clear development perspective on sales management.

[PSC/124760] You take responsibility for the supply and order phase in the Modular Building business segment - from the tender to the final negotiation with the customer. You design competitive designs in an economical way and lead a team of internal and external planners as well as engineers. You check calculations and offers for technical and commercial plausibility and release them for the offer. You represent the technical feasibility and cost-effectiveness of projects - for example in terms of facades, construction structures or cost sets per square meter - towards customers and internal interfaces. You identify opportunities, risks and special features in tenders and develop suitable, economical solutions - both in modular and serial construction. You conduct customer appointments at decision-making level, accompany negotiations to completion and represent the company as competent technical contact.

You have completed your studies in civil engineering, industrial engineering, architecture or a comparable technical qualification - alternatively you have developed a technical career path into sales. You bring several years of experience in turnkey construction and have a strong understanding of construction processes, costing and cost structures. You combine technical know-how with sovereign appearance, persuasion and negotiation skills. You have experience in handling tenders and are safe in evaluating technical and commercial offers. You are able to present complex technical issues in a comprehensible and convincing way. You are ready to travel throughout Germany and bring the flexibility to meet customer appointments in the evening hours.
