In addition to contract law, this includes, for example, the areas of corporate law, M & A, compliance, competition law, labour law, insolvency law or product liability law. In your assigned area of responsibility, the lawyers of the Group Legal Division are recognised as an estimated consultant by your internal clients. The lawyers of the Group Legal Division do not understand themselves as a coordinator of external lawyers, but are largely responsible for legal matters and therefore have a diverse know-how in-house. At your work, you can use up-to-date tools such as the common legal databases and AI tools. Due to the international orientation of the business there is a strong international relationship. The Group's Legal Department is supported by regional legal departments in the USA, Brazil, China and Switzerland, which are professionally managed by the Group's Legal Department. Your duties You advise the Voith Hydro Group area on operational issues, in particular in the field of plant building law. You maintain contract negotiations with customers and suppliers, accompany the supply and contract processes as well as the execution of projects focusing on civil and contractual law, usually with a strong international reference. You examine and advise Voith Hydro in the enforcement and defence of claims, including in the context of judicial or judicial proceedings. You train executives and employees and are active in the design of contract patterns. You coordinate and manage external legal advisers and process representatives. If necessary, you will work in a special legal area relevant to the company and take over Group-wide Liability. Your profile You have completed your Examina with above-average success. You have at least 3 years of professional experience in a larger law firm or the legal department of a renowned industrial company. Your knowledge of German and English (intensified abroad) is safe in word and writing; further foreign languages are advantageous. You can clearly, understandably and address legal matters. You have experience in working with legal AI tools. You have a strong analytical understanding of economic and technical relationships and a safe occurrence.
