Technical Director (m/f/d)

Your demanding tasks in a pioneering science project of the Free State of Bavaria include the provision of neutrons for scientific and application-oriented use and, in particular, the overarching coordination of the areas Reactor operation Radiation protection Irradiation devices Secondary sources (hot and cold source, converter system) Fuel cycle Nuclear and conventional safety and the representation of nuclear and industrial concerns to supervisory authorities and the management of approximately 120 persons. Deeper knowledge of specific requirements can be acquired at a reasonable time of incorporation if necessary.

You have a technical and/or scientific university degree and have many years of professional experience, preferably in the field of nuclear installations. You bring outstanding and comprehensive technical knowledge and know how to convince with your professional competence. High social competence and personnel management skills as well as proven experience and performance are absolutely required. The high safety standard of our facility requires an atomic reliability check. The body is remunerated in a performance-oriented manner and is limited to five years according to the organisational statute with the possibility of extension.
