Senior Consultant (m/w/d) We are looking for the Office for Digitization, Organization and IT (DO.IT) of the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. The place shall be occupied without delay. The field of cross-sectional tasks and basic infrastructure supervises the data centers of the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. We provide central server and storage systems and thus secure the stable operation of urban IT. Our tasks include the administration of server and storage infrastructures as well as the introduction of new technologies. We provide central IT services, including the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). This enables us to create a powerful, secure and future-oriented IT base for the city administration.

You plan and operate the Public Key Infrastructure of the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart Installation and operation of the required server instances (CA, Sub-CA, CRL, HSM) including backup and recovery Your own Development of specifications for the PKI, trust management and automated certificate creation strategies Ensuring certification management and documentation of PKI implementation in the city administration Development and further development of concepts for the prevention and defence of threats and attacks, as well as forensic analysis, detection of causes and proof of PKI-related information security incidents Repair and documentation of technical disturbances A change or addition of the task area is reserved.

A completed study (Bachelor/Master) in computer science or Business informatics or a comparable technical conclusion Persons with a completed IT-specific training and at least three years of relevant professional experience or Offices of the elevated information technology service Language and language skills (C1) Good knowledge of encryption protocols, network protocols, standards in PKI, smart cards and services Good knowledge of Windows Server operating system and knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Ideally, you have experiences with a Microsoft Active-Directory-based PKI
