Apprenticeship as an administrative assistant (m/f/d)

This is what awaits you: An exciting and varied dual training where you can implement the content learned in block lessons directly in practice. Through the practical application you will get to know the various areas with the most diverse areas of responsibility of the county administration and your future colleagues. For example, you will become a member of the Department I “Kreisentwicklung”, Department II “Sicherheit und Ordnung”, Department III “Jugend und Soziales”, Department IV “Bauen und Umwelt” or also in the Unit 1 “Kreistagsbüro und PRarbeit” or Unit 2 ‘Central Services and Finance’. The tasks to be created by you range from the creation of an employment contract to the approval of vehicles, to the testing and approval of construction projects or the approval of social assistance (e.g. housing allowance) – to name only a few activities. You therefore independently develop administrative decisions, act with and advise citizens in the implementation of decisions. This content offers you the training: The training lasts three years, with theory and practice changing. Practical training takes place in the various departments and departments of the county administration (about 8 weeks each). During your practical training, you will be taught basic skills in the following subjects as well as in the following subjects: economics, General administrative law/legal application, private law, Human resources, Public finance and State and municipal law. Vocational training is in block form (quarterly) at vocational schools I in Northeim.
