Number: MER00040MA Design the production of tomorrow with us! The Mercedes-Benz plant in Hamburg offers exciting insights into industrial planning and production. As part of the engineering sector, you work in the cross-sectional team Planning, which combines two central focuses: the layout planning for production areas and plants, as well as the coordination of project and cross-sectional tasks. You will be actively involved in the development and implementation of pioneering technologies – in particular in the five core areas of the site: Axles and axle components, steering columns, exhaust gas technology, lightweight structural parts and components of electric mobility. These challenges include: Project Management and Reporting You prepare project strati for the plant's product projects – directly for management Development of an AI chattool to support planning processes Working with the Revitalization Planning Process You are developing processes and implementing the Revita map for machines and plants Support in layout planning and strategy as well as in the implementation of specific area concepts Integration into the CAD tool Faplis (Microstation) and implementation of specific tasks for digital layout design Processing and implementation of layouts in the area management Insights into adjacent areas and interfaces Please note that the duration of the internship is 6 months. The activity can begin from June 2026.
