In this professionally demanding role, you ensure that all legal and internal requirements are met and make a central contribution to the site compliance and to the continuous improvement of our EHS culture.
Your tasks:
Ensure compliance with all EHS laws, regulations and company standards Implementation and further development of the local EHS strategy in coordination with the leadership team and regional and national EHS functions Expert advice on EHS-relevant decisions and participation in local leadership meetings Planning, prioritization and monitoring of the EHS budget Creating EHS reports, key figures and presentations Cooperation with internal interfaces, in particular Process Safety, to meet all safety-relevant requirements Support for audits and coordination of measures to improve the EHS management system
Complete study in the field of EHS, occupational safety, environmental management, engineering, chemistry or comparable qualification Multiannual experience in the EHS environment, ideally in the industrial or production environment Knowledge of German Work Protection and Environmental Law Analytical and solution-oriented working methods – also in complex topics High autonomy, communication strength and the ability to convince different stakeholders Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing readiness for occasional journeys within Germany
