Head of Department Research and Development & Science and Law (m/f/d)

In this key position, you assume the overall responsibility for research & development and regulatory affairs in two highly regulated product worlds. You drive forward innovations, ensure the global transport capability and build a sustainable product pipeline. Strategic and operational management of research and development and regulatory affairs Development of innovative cosmetic and nutritional supplement products along current market and consumer health trends Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. EU Cosmetic Regulation, Food and Supplement Law) Responsibility for product documentation, safety assessments and approval processes Control of the entire innovation process – from idea to launch Interface Management with Marketing, Quality, Purchasing and Production Contact for authorities, certification bodies and international partners Building efficient, scalable processes for both product categories

Complete studies in chemistry, food chemistry, pharmacy, biochemistry or comparable Multiannual leadership experience in the cosmetic, food or consumer health sector Funded knowledge of Regulatory Affairs for cosmetics and/or dietary supplements (EU, ideally also internationally) Multiannual experience in the development of formulations or Recipes Entrepreneurial thinking and pronounced hands-on mentality Ability to implement complex regulatory requirements in practice Very good knowledge of German and English
