Lead System Architect (Mission Services) (m/f/d)

Ensure strategic, cross-product orientation and further development of the system architecture for the responsible discipline “Mission Services” Guarantee consistent, integrable, reusable and sustainable system architectures across multiple products plus standardised documentation Develop technical target images and reference architectures taking into account architectural conflicts, redundancy, gaps, dependencies, re-use potentials and awardability (Make-or-Buy) Ensure product and project-specific compliance with standards in system development and modeling and integrate all adjacent areas of expertise (software, hardware, integration, verification, MBSE, RAMSS) into architecture development to create consistent overall architecture Making necessary architectural decisions (e.g. through architectural reviews), comprehensible and clearly documenting, including technical reasons and effective implementation and developing the necessary skills within the team in coordination with the disciplinary leadership

Successfully completed university studies in engineering, natural science, computer science, systems engineering or comparable qualification Found experience in the technical management of teams and many years of practical experience in the development of complex technical systems Embossed expertise in system architecture, system decomposition, interface definition, requirements engineering, system integration and architecture modelling using relevant standards / frameworks (e.g. INCOSE, SEBoK, ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288) Knowledge and experience in the field of mission services as well as safe occurrence, enforcement, resilience and flexibility as strengths in self-responsibility Structured recording of complex and abstract relationships in technical and organizational systems and very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
