Technical Assistant Fault Locator / Measurement Technology (a*)

As part of the disorder team, you provide measurable support in all voltage levels and thus contribute significantly to the security of supply. With GIS systems, you prepare planned destructive measures, evaluate network and plant data and support targeted deployment planning. To determine the location of the fault, you set up test and measurement circuits, analyze the measurement results and participate in the selection of suitable measures. You can use modern testing and measuring instruments safely, ensure the correct performance of the measurements and document the results in the systems provided. Reconstruction and repair work on fault location equipment is also part of your task and ensures the availability of the measuring technology used. As part of DGUV testing on electrical equipment, you take over the monitoring and execution and thus ensure compliance with the safety requirements. In the call readiness service throughout the network area, you evaluate fault messages, support colleagues on site and introduce your measuring know-how. By grounding and impedance measurements in the low-voltage power line network, you make a direct contribution to network and operational safety.

The basis of your profile is a completed technical training, ideally in the electrotechnical field. Measuring skills or experience in network operation are desirable and facilitate entry. Team skills, resilience and reliability are both the willingness to find creative solutions for technical questions. A very good analytical and structured thinking capability allows you to quickly capture complex technical relationships. In cooperation with internal and external contact persons, you convince by customer orientation and clear, understandable communication. The willingness to acquire the C1E class driving license will help you to be able to be used flexibly throughout the entire network area.
