Head of IT Service (m/f/d)

Dansk Skoleforening for Sydslesvig e.V. is looking for a manager (m/w/d) IT service for the IT department as of 9.3.2026 or after consultation. The IT Service management plays a central role in ensuring a well-functioning and user-oriented IT support for schools and daycare centers throughout the school club. The IT department is responsible for the operation, service and further development of the entire IT infrastructure of the school club, including servers, networks, telephony, printers, smartboards, virtualization environments as well as PCs, iPads and other mobile devices for approximately 2,500 students and 1,800 employees. As Head of (m/w/d) IT Service, you are responsible for the daily management of the service team (Helpdesk, Fieldservice and Workshop) and, in close cooperation with the IT management, ensure that support requests are processed efficiently and with high user satisfaction.

Management and coordination of the daily work of the service team, including task distribution, resource management and tracking of tickets. Ensuring a stable and structured organization of all support levels (first and second level support) as well as continuous development and maintenance of support systems and workflows. Contribution to high user satisfaction through clear communication, consistent feedback and the further development of service concepts for the entire organization. Close cooperation with the management of IT operations for coordination between operation and service as well as participation in the implementation of relevant IT and security measures. Participation in the planning and implementation of smaller development and implementation projects that focus on service orientation and user participation.

Complete relevant training in the IT sector and well-founded experience in IT support, service management and technical operations. Experience in team management as well as pronounced coordination and organizational skills, ideally from a larger organization or educational institution. Structured, service-oriented mode of operation with the ability to keep an overview even in the case of high demand and operationally critical tasks. Impressed communication and team skills as well as an appreciation of employees, executives and external partners. Motivation to develop service processes and ensure that IT optimally supports the core tasks of schools and daycare centers. Bilingual in Danish and German
