In this position, you are responsible for the independent implementation of an audit portfolio in the EMEA region. You work closely with international team members from the Group Audit. Together, their risk-oriented audits, defines suitable audit targets and methods and develops the audit strategy. As a strategic partner:in the direction of the internal audit of Zurich Insurance Europe AG, you identify cross-cutting issues, patterns and risks, share your findings with the top management, and participate in reports for seniors and audit committees at local and group level. As an experienced executive in the Group Audit, you promote a collaborative and learning-oriented culture. You actively shape strategic priorities, develop innovative test approaches - using agile methods and new technologies (e.g. IT, Data Analytics, GenAI) - and proceed as a model for change and continuous development. A special focus is on the further expansion of the Group Audit IT & Operations Centre of Excellence and the further qualification of the team in basic IT topics. Overview of your main tasks Audit planning & implementation: You implement modern exam approaches and develop the risk-based ICT audit plan - taking into account current IT risks, regulatory requirements and new technologies. You actively control the implementation of your audit portfolio and ensure a timely and risk-oriented coverage of all relevant topics in Europe. Stakeholder management & reporting: You’re passionate about trusting relationships with key stakeholders to positively influence the IT risk and control landscape. In addition, you will create meaningful audit reports and present them to the senior management, the board and the Audit Committee. Regulatory cooperation: You openly and constructively shape communication with the supervisory authorities, secure regulatory compliance and professionally process any audit findings. Embossed initiative, strategic thinking, communication and team strength Completed studies (Bachelor or Master) or comparable training, ideally supplemented by certifications such as CISA, CISSP or CISM At least ten years of relevant professional experience - including several years at (senior) management level in IT audit, IT risk management or IT management, preferably in the insurance or financial sector Funded knowledge in IT audit methods, relevant control frameworks and regulatory requirements (especially DORA) as well as technologies such as Cloud, API, AI, Robotics, Data Loss Prevention, Cyber Security and Outsourcing Strong ability to treat complex issues as well as experience in managing executives, supervisory authorities and other external stakeholders German and English knowledge in word and writing
