As Jabil Optics Germany GmbH in Jena, we are part of the world's second-largest contract manufacturer Jabil and lead in the development of opto-electro-mechanical modules for Augmented, Virtual and Mixed Reality, modern camera systems and gesture control/ 3D Sensing. At the Optics Design Center in Jena, we develop opto-electro-mechanical design solutions for AR/VR glasses, autonomous driving (LiDAR, Driver Monitoring, ADAS camera systems, eye tracking), robotics, action cameras, smartphones, endoscopes and many other applications.

To strengthen our development site in Jena, we are looking for an unlimited period of time and full-time (36h week) from now on:

IT Supervisor (m/w/d)

Processing of Incidents and Service Requests via Ticket System ServiceNow First contact for users, project employees, customers and management in IT-related questions and problems Administration of internally used applications (e.g. Docuware, Envoy, Zoom, LMTools, RealVNC) and low-code solutions Coordination of service providers to provide network infrastructure for customer projects Management of software licenses Patching vulnerabilities (e.g. by installing updates) on end-user devices Participation in audits and the annual review and revision of disaster recovery plans, including the implementation of exercises Technical and disciplinary management and coordination of IT (currently one employee)

Successfully completed training as a specialist informant or completed Bachelor degree in IT Multiannual professional experience in IT operations/IT infrastructure in the industrial environment Knowledge of system administration, especially in the Windows environment Experience with Microsoft Power Automate or Microsoft Power Apps desirable Pleasure of responsibility, coordination and control of procedures Good communication skills, even in stressful situations Very good knowledge of German and English for communication with the user, other Site IT teams and service providers absolutely necessary
