To support the Wehrtechnische Dienststelle 61 (WTD 61) we are looking for reinforcement for our team in Manching. Lead Expert Systems Engineering Eurofighter (w/m/d) As a test engineer, you will be employed at the National Test and Development Centre Eurofighter and will accompany the development and introduction of new technologies and skills with flight and ground tests. To do this, use the complex testing infrastructure at the airport in Manching with various hardware and software, such as telemetry floor station, flight testing laboratory, evaluation PCs, IADS, Matlab, Visualstudio, ARS, DM1 and MANDRILL.

A&I, COMMS, DASS, ACS, NAV, D&C, mission data) shall include: Adapt existing tools to new avionics software Defining and requesting flight data for telemetry and post-flight evaluation (e.g. FID, Config) Demanding evaluation of flight data Conversion of flight data to carry out METEOR and AMRAAM simulations (DM1, ARS) Implementation of simulations for METEOR, AMRAAM and PAVEWAY Conception and planning of flight tests Creation of flight test programs and test cards for test flights Tool creation for evaluation e.g. Matlab scripts and self-written programs and DLLs in C++/C# Assessment of compliance with the specifications Creation of flight test reports and problem reports

Including university studies (HS or university) with a degree in a technical field. Aerospace technology is desirable. Long-standing, versatile professional experience in aviation. Funded Bundeswehr experience necessary. Specialized knowledge in several integrated areas (technical service of aircraft at Bw). Course Eurofighter System Engineer desirable. Knowledge of the avionics structure in the WaSys Eurofighter. knowledge of bus architectures (FiberOptic and MILBUS). Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing. Experience with software development tools (C++ / C# , Matlab, IADS). Good knowledge of test methodology and processes.
