The Department of Internal Medicine – Nephrology treats around 1,600 patients annually and carries out about 5,000 stationary and semi-stationary dialyses. As a certified nephrological center of gravity and hypertension center as well as interdisciplinary center for dialysis accesses, it covers the entire spectrum of renal replacement procedures – including peritoneal dialysis, plasmapheresis and extracorporeal detoxification. The offer is supplemented by focuses on immunology, diabetics and intensive-nephrology, as well as a specialist outpatient for kidney and high-pressure diseases and an outpatient peritoneal dialysis program.

PhD student / specialist in internal medicine and with excellent clinical expertise throughout the Nephrology department Habilitation or comparable scientific qualification desired Multiannual experience in leading position in a nephrological clinic, ideally in certified nephrological centers Strengthening of Priorities Immunology, Diabetology, Intensive Nephrology and Peritonealdialysis Management and Quality Management Competence, Understanding Performance Indicators in Healthcare, MBA / MHBA Experience in clinical design, conceptual, economic and innovative thinking Open-minded leadership with an appreciation of the communication style and commitment to team development Joy and commitment to the further development of the clinic and scientific participation Compliance with the requirements for professional training Legally necessary evidence of immunization against measles
