The division Signal Technology Systems offers our customers complete solutions in the field of digital control and safety technology, which are used by many well-known railway companies in Germany and abroad. We realize the digitization of control systems, control units and rail transitions and contribute significantly to making rail operation more efficient, more environmentally friendly and therefore sustainable. We need your support for this pioneering and historical task for rail transport. We are looking for you Software Architect (m/w/d) to support the systems for signal technology at the Melsdorf site.

In your role, you take the SW architecture work on SW-load distributed systems for sustainable development in the railway sector. You define the technical and technical context for products and projects. In addition, you support Product Owner in formulating technical requirements and quality requirements by forming quality scenarios and developing approaches to achieving quality requirements (e.g. performance, flexibility, expandability, availability). Factors such as organization and structure, resources, organizational standards and legal and technical factors are determined by you, as well as relevant framework conditions from decisions of innovation management or guidelines. You develop technical concepts and structures for implementing the software in the form of architectural patterns. Architecture principles for software are tailored by you, and you perform desired-actual comparisons of architectural specifications. You'll start qualitative and quantitative architectural assessments. You also plan the systematic improvement and evolution of an existing software architecture. The documentation and communication of the SW architecture are also part of your tasks.

You have successfully completed your Master's degree in Computer Science. An additional qualification for the SW architecture, for example by certification for the Certified Professional for Software Architecture (CPSA) by the ISAQB or a comparable training, as well as several years of relevant professional experience. Technology openness is obvious to you, and you already have experience in working with teams working with different technologiestacks (Java, C++, Python). Your communication skills are pronounced, both in word and in writing, and you can also understand complex content using diagrams, graphics or other visual representations.
