Our global supply chain team controls end-to-end logistics, procurement, supplier management, production planning and distribution for microscopy and measurement technology products – with business development initiatives and cross-development cooperation with adjacent departments, business units and suppliers.

Our global supply chain team is responsible for strategic purchasing, demand planning and operational procurement, as well as supplier management for microscopy and measurement technology products – with business development initiatives and cross-development cooperation with adjacent departments, business units and suppliers.

In your role, you will lead complex, cross-functional high-tech projects focusing on international technology development, production protection and strategic development of our supply chain with a strong focus on our growth markets. The aim is to translate strategic requirements into feasible plans and to reliably implement dates, budget, quality, compliance and stakeholder expectations. Its central tasks include:

Control of international technology transfer projects with scope definition, readiness planning, governance and stabilization after transfer

Construction and professional management of cross-functional, international project teams (R&D, engineering, production, quality, purchasing, logistics, finance, regulatory, commercial)

Ensuring timely delivery of milestones, products/product systems, technical documentation, validations, training packages and operational readiness

Identification/risk management for technology maturity, process capability, quality, compliance, supply chains, capacities, costs and stakeholder alignment

Central interface to global stakeholders, governance appointments, steering committees, clear milestone planning and action-oriented recommendations

Promoting standardized project management methods, Lessons Learned and knowledge transfer and continuous improvement in the field

Your profile Higher education in engineering, physics, chemistry, material sciences, life sciences, economic engineering, business engineering or comparable - further degrees/certifications are advantageous

Multiannual relevant experience in project management in the context of high-tech/precision technology, semiconductors, optics, medical technology, life science, industrial plants or similar areas focusing on international, cross-functional projects with high technical complexity

Understanding governance, stakeholder, risk management, budget management and phase-based delivery models

Representative social and communicative competencies for binding stakeholder management across international teams, external partners, suppliers and matrix organisations.

Sovereign and diplomatic negotiation and implementation skills for process optimization and market adjustment

Project management certification desirable (PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, Agile).

Very good knowledge of German and English; other languages (e.g. Mandarin) advantageous; readiness for international travel
