The Department of Internal Medicine – Cardiology, Diabetology and Conservative Intensive Medicine has 80 beds, including 12 intensive beds, and provides over 3,500 patients with a wide range of internalists each year. It offers comprehensive invasive and non-invasive diagnostics, a 24-hour readiness to supply acute coronary syndrome and is certified as a diabetes center (DDG). In addition, the clinic, together with other departments, represents the medical occupation of the emergency medical service vehicle of the Berlin fire department.
